Cascade
Mental Health Care is a non-profit organization that has been providing mental
health services to the residents of Lewis County, Washington for over forty
years. Our agency, which has about 72 employees, is seeking to fill the
position of Executive Director.
In
this diverse and rewarding position that reports to the Board of Directors, the
ideal person is the “frontline” for all aspects of the agency and an integral
part of the operational success and future of Cascade Mental Health Care.
The ideal person will manage the day-to-day operations and advise the Board on
policy development and priority setting, and ensure employees feel supported,
motivated, and valued in their work. The ideal person will be responsible
for ensuring the development and implementation of the strategic plan and
leading the organization in improving the mental health of the Lewis County
community. This will require working closely with the Board of Directors,
inspiring the staff, and participating in community organizations.
Our
agency is looking for a trusted leader that consistently demonstrates sound
judgment, high integrity and an ability to build positive, lasting
relationships. The ideal person must have a strong work ethic,
problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively with multiple community
partners. The ideal person will ensure the development of an annual
balanced budget and pursue agency funding sources, submitting applications,
documents, and other material to secure program funding and/or grants.
Preferred
Qualifications and Skills:
v A minimum of three
(3) years clinical experience, preferably in human services and/or other
not-for profit mental health agencies.
v Master’s degree in a
behavioral health field.
v Pass background and
credit checks.
v Reside in Lewis
County, WA.
v Legally licensed and
insured available transportation and the ability to attend local, state, and/or
national meetings and/or trainings.
v A demonstrated
ability to manage and understand the complexity of the professional
relationships and to maintain a high level of poise and professionalism in all
circumstances.
v Effective and proven
leadership and management skills.
v Ability to work
effectively with boards, committees and community stakeholders.
v Effectively manage
programs to maximize the efficient delivery of quality care.
v Provide program
planning and oversight for all agency clinical service and administrative
matters, including those outlined in WAC 388-805-145.
v Ensure that the
agency is in compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations.
Also ensure that the services provided by the agency are in accordance
with all federal, state, regional, county and local laws, rules and
regulations, accreditation standards, contractual requirements, the agency’s
policy and procedures and ethical standards.
v An accomplished
communicator with the ability to represent the agency before local and state
elected officials and governmental agencies as well as the public.
